Account Executive (Services)
As the Account Executive (Services) you will be responsible for selling all training services, predominately for Asta Powerproject and related tools. This requires constant coordination to balance incoming training enquiries with the availability and capabilities of training resources.
In addition, time should be taken to proactively seek training opportunities as well as following up on completed courses.
Additional services may also be offered such as consultancy & planning assistance. The role will naturally also cross into the discovery of other sales opportunities such as additional licences, which should be handled appropriately.

The Company’s software solutions are used throughout the building lifecycle from early planning and design stages through to construction, interior fit out, asset management and facilities management to support project management, project scheduling, cost estimation, visualisation, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and property management.

- Deliver prepared training sales calls to persuade potential customers to purchase services.
- Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements, email campaigns and direct marketing.
- Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers.
- To tele-market existing customers for the purposes of selling training-related services.
- Pro-actively track prospects through the sales cycle, from initial enquiry through to close of the sale, managing a training sales pipeline and forecasts.
- To help the business meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Manage trainers’ dairies via output from CRM.
- Book delegates onto training courses, in the Company’s CRM system.
- To provide cover for other internal training sales team members during leave of absence or holiday.
- To ensure that all work carried out is of high quality and conforms to any company standards that are in force at that time (ISO9001:2015).
- In addition to the duties which this job normally entails, the Employee may from time to time be required to undertake additional duties commensurate with their grade as may be reasonably necessary to meet the needs of the Employer’s business.
- To represent the company, its products and services in a professional manner at all times.
- To liaise with training venues to plan future training courses and requirements for the training sessions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail during fast & accurate data entry
- Excellent written English and numeracy
- Highly proficient with Excel, Word & Outlook
- Ability to lead customer discussion and manage effectively
- Ability to embrace change, new challenges and learnings
- Being able to show empathy when dealing with customers and colleagues
- Experience in the use of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system such as Dynamics
- You have experience with full-cycle services sales
Essential qualifications:
- A-Level or equivalent

- Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales service role

The normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week. From time to time, you may be required to work additional hours to fully perform your job in accordance with the needs of the business.
The main working location is Southampton (Hybrid), and the role may involve travel to other company offices as necessary in line with the needs of the business.
