Content Manager

As the Content Manager for Elecosoft UK Ltd, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy that resonates with our audience in the construction and building lifecycle industries. This role will focus on producing high-quality, engaging, and relevant content that drives lead generation, strengthens brand positioning, and supports the overall marketing and sales strategy.

 

You will lead the creation of diverse content formats—blogs, case studies, white papers, videos, infographics, and more—designed to educate and inspire our audience while aligning with business objectives. You will play a key role in amplifying Elecosoft’s voice in the construction sector by targeting relevant topics and trends and ensuring content is distributed effectively across all channels.

Key responsibilities:
  • Content Strategy Development: Develop and execute a robust content strategy that aligns with Elecosoft’s marketing and business goals, with a focus on lead generation and nurturing.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of a wide range of content types, including blogs, white papers, case studies, videos, infographics, and eBooks, to engage our target audience in the construction sector.
  • Content Calendar Management: Build and maintain a content calendar that supports product launches, industry trends, and marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.
  • SEO & Digital Optimisation: Ensure all content is optimised for SEO and digital performance, driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams (sales, product, and marketing) and external partners to gather insights, customer feedback, and technical knowledge for content creation.
  • Brand Voice & Messaging: Maintain consistency in brand messaging and voice across all content, ensuring alignment with Elecosoft’s mission and values in the construction technology space.
  • Lead Nurturing & Conversion: Develop content aimed at moving prospects through the sales funnel, nurturing leads, and supporting customer acquisition.
  • Content Performance Analysis: Track, analyse, and report on content performance, using insights to refine and improve content strategy for optimal ROI.
  • Content Distribution: Oversee the distribution of content across multiple platforms including website, email, social media, and third-party channels to maximise visibility and engagement.
Skills/ prerequisites:
    Essential:

  • Content Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in creating and executing successful content marketing strategies in a B2B environment, ideally within the construction or technology sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the construction industry and its trends, with the ability to create industry-specific content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Content Creation & Writing Skills: Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to produce content that is both engaging and informative.
  • SEO and Digital Marketing: Experience in SEO best practices and optimising content for search engines and digital platforms.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion Focus: Proven ability to create content that supports lead generation, lead nurturing, and customer acquisition.
  • Project Management: Experience managing content calendars, workflows, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely content delivery.
  • CMS & Marketing Tools: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions to optimise marketing efforts.
    Desirable:

  • Visual Content Creation: Experience working with creative teams or tools to produce visual content.
  • Social Media Expertise: Experience managing content distribution and engagement on social media platforms.
Qualifications
  • Essential – Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Desirable – CIM or other relevant marketing certification.

Working hours and location:
  • 37.5 hours per week with flexibility depending on business needs.
  • The role is hybrid, with time spent between the Haddenham office and remote work, plus occasional travel to other locations as required.
