Marketing Manager

As a Marketing Manager for Elecosoft, you will develop and own the marketing strategy and plans that fully align with Group and Regional Strategies to support growth ambitions for Elecosoft in the UK, Ireland, and International Channel markets.

Leading, managing and mentoring your team with the core objective of lead generation to fuel the sales pipeline, reporting to key stakeholders within the business on success and delivery against goals.

You will use your extensive digital marketing experience and commercial knowledge to drive and maximise the impact of marketing on the business. You will foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners acting as a trusted advisor and a part of the senior management team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Owning and implementing strategy, plans and budgets – you will develop, own, and implement the marketing strategy and plan, aligned to commercial priorities, for Elecosoft UK. Leading and coaching your team to ensure delivery is on time and within budget. You will own the marketing budget for Elecosoft UK.
  • Owning, creating, and activating campaigns and content – you will manage the creation of campaigns and content to drive/generate leads to feed sales. You will ensure your team effectively implements across a variety of channels to achieve objectives.
  • Reporting, accountability, and ROI – you will own overall marketing effectiveness and ROI reporting on campaigns and activities for your area. Working with colleagues across the Eleco plc Group Building Lifecycle portfolio, you will optimise effectiveness and introduce new ways of working or cascade learning through your team.
  • Working as a team with a focus on developing and managing others – you will proactively work and collaborate as part of the marketing team to deliver against overall OKRs. You will lead (hands-on), mentor and coach your team, proactively focusing on their career development. You will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders of all levels across the business acting as a trusted advisor.
Qualifications:

Educated to Degree level or equivalent CIM qualification.

Essential skills/ prerequisites:
  • Substantial experience in marketing, including at a strategic/management level, with clear evidence of success in prior roles
  • Experience of developing creative marketing strategies focused on maximising success in target markets & verticals
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns that drive business results and meet objectives
  • Extensive experience of digital and direct marketing and communications for an international software company
  • Experience of working with sales teams to generate leads to fuel pipeline
  • Good understanding and experience of CRM and marketing automation
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence credibly and build strong trusted relationships – at all levels of the organisation and with external partners
  • Experience of building, mentoring, and coaching a successful marketing team
  • Capable of manging the workload of the team while operating in a highly competitive and pressurised environment while meeting deadlines in accordance with business requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate ideas, utilising creative writing while holding to branding and messaging direction and strategy
  • Ability to think ‘outside the box’
Desirable experience & qualifications:
  • Experience of marketing software or SaaS solutions for the AECO industries (Building Lifecycle, Asset & Maintenance Management Solutions)
  • Additional languages such as French or Spanish

Working hours and location:

The normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week. From time to time, you may be required to work additional hours to fully perform your job in accordance with the needs of the business.

The main working location is our head office at Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, and the role may involve travel to other Elecosoft offices, client’s offices, and other locations as necessary in line with the needs of the business.

Flexible arrangements to include days working from home may be possible for this role
