Software Trainer

Joining an existing training team responsible for delivering a range of established training courses for our Asta Powerproject software & associated products to our clients, as well as designing & planning content to meet specific client requirements.

Key responsibilities:
  • To gain & maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company’s software products.
  • To assist with the design and production of training materials for the company’s products and related courses.
  • To deliver training courses at the Company’s and client premises. This will involve travel in the UK and will require staying away from home.
  • To deliver online training courses.
  • To liaise with other members of the company to effectively carry out the requirements of the position.
  • To liaise with members of other Departments supplying services to the Sales function.
  • To keep an up-to-date record of client feedback and maintain training records in CRM system.
Essential skills/ prerequisites:
  • Experience of delivering training courses to delegates with a range of abilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly, highlight features & benefits of a product & communicate instructions.
  • A methodical approach with the ability to work independently to understand the functional workings of software then explain this simply to others.
  • Good interpersonal skills & enjoy working as part of a team with a shared objective & vision.
  • Strong communication skills with good written and spoken English.
  • Confident manner & professional approach.
  • Excellent IT proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience of developing training courses and producing relevant supporting documentation. (Desirable)
  • Experience of online training & digital content creation. (Desirable)
  • Previous software training experience or other customer facing role. (Desirable)
  • Experience of construction and/or project management would be beneficial. (Desirable)

Working hours and location:

The normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week. From time to time, you may be required to work additional hours to fully perform your job in accordance with the needs of the business.

The main working location is Haddenham, Buckinghamshire with opportunity for hybrid working and will involve regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland.
