ShireSystem User Course

This course is designed for people who need to perform day-to-day operations on the system. It is a basic introduction to the ShireSystem maintenance system. Delegates will be taught how to search and select, control the job list, add additional breakdown and corrective jobs, sign off work, and carry out basic reporting. Delegates must be familiar with the basics of using a computer and browsing the Web.

This course does not contain any detailed discussions of maintenance concepts and is suitable for users who will have a fully loaded and configured system to use on their return. Check out our full course description.

The ShireSystem User Course is a concise, one-day introductory training programme that equips participants with the essential, everyday functionality of the ShireSystem software. Designed for users who will work with a fully configured system, the course focuses on hands-on operations such as searching for assets, navigating and using the location tree, entering meter readings, generating reports on assets, current work, and work history, as well as creating, scheduling, assigning, and signing off work orders via the Work Requester.

By the end of the session, delegates will be able to use ShireSystem with confidence, ensuring they can effectively manage day-to-day tasks.

This course is recommended for people responsible for performing day to day operations using the software such as Maintenance Engineers and Maintenance Managers.

There are no course prerequisites beyond basic computer and internet literacy. Each delegate will work at a computer for the duration of the course.
