Maintec 2026: Exploring the Reality of CMMS Implementation
Eleco will be exhibiting at Maintec 2026 this June, where we’ll be focusing on one of the most important topics in modern maintenance management: what successful CMMS implementation really looks like in practice.
As part of this year’s event, we’ll be hosting a live customer session titled:
Inside a CMMS Implementation: The Buyer’s Perspective
🕐 1:00PM – 1:20PM
📅 Thursday 4th June
🎤 Maintenance Stage
The session brings together Richard Watson, CMMS Lead at Radnor Hills, and Gary Jones, Senior Sales Manager at Eleco, for an honest and practical Q&A discussion around the realities of implementing a Computerised Maintenance Management System.
Rather than focusing purely on software features, the session will explore the operational and organisational side of CMMS projects, including the challenges, lessons learned, and key success factors that often determine long-term outcomes.
Attendees will hear first-hand insights into:
- The operational pressures and maintenance challenges that led Radnor Hills to invest in a CMMS
- Why stakeholder engagement across maintenance, operations, and leadership teams is critical
- The importance of accurate asset data and clearly defined maintenance processes
- How vendors can support organisations through system selection, onboarding, training, and optimisation
- Practical lessons around planning, user adoption, collaboration, and continuous improvement
For organisations considering investing in new CMMS software, replacing legacy systems, or looking to improve maintenance maturity, the session aims to provide a realistic and valuable perspective from both the customer and vendor side of the implementation journey.
Visitors to the Eleco stand (Maintenance Hall, Stand K-40), will also be able to discuss wider themes shaping maintenance and asset management in 2026, including proactive maintenance strategies, improving asset visibility, reducing downtime, and supporting engineering teams with better maintenance planning and reporting.
