Custom Application Developer

This new role will focus on ShireSystem (CMMS/CAFM) software and associated products globally within our customer base.

As technology has evolved, it has become more evident that customers demand improved automated reporting capabilities from their current CMMS/CAFM systems. The extraction of data from the system will allow the creation of suitable Power BI Dashboards or other reports to enhance the functionality of the core application.

Key responsibilities:
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to design bespoke addons, reports and integrations
  • Build, test, document and support projects
  • Support and modify as required the existing code base of projects
  • Changes and rewrites to existing Reports (Power BI, macros, Excel)
  • Creation of specification reports for customers
  • Hand over completed supported projects to the Customer Success team
  • Internal documentation creation as required
Essential skills/ prerequisites:
  • REST API
  • Good understanding of SQLServer database principles, structures, theories and practices
  • PowerBI or SSRS Report Creation
  • JavaScript and JQuery
  • Experience of C# Winforms .net would be useful but not essential
  • CMMS/CAFM experience will be advantage
  • Graduate in computer science related degree or an equivalent industry qualification and a minimum one years’ experience

Working hours and location:

The normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week. From time to time, you may be required to work additional hours to fully perform your job in accordance with the needs of the business.

This remote role may involve travel to other offices, client’s offices, and other locations as necessary in line with the needs of the business.
