Data Assistant

This is a great opportunity to join a successful public listed company as we seek to appoint a Data Assistant who will support across the organisation to support our strategic goals.

Eleco plc (AIM: ELCO) is a specialist international provider of world class software and related services, supporting the built environment through its operations in the UK, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, and the USA.

The Company’s software solutions are used throughout the building lifecycle from early planning and design stages through to construction, interior fit out, asset management and facilities management to support project management, project scheduling, cost estimation, visualisation, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and property management.

Role purpose:

To maintain the content and quality of data on behalf of clients using the Elecosoft IconSystem to specified deadlines and offer a first-line user support helpdesk.

Key responsibilities:

Data Management

  • Analysing, editing and inputting information provided by clients into the IconSystem.
  • Competently use Microsoft Office products for a variety of tasks.
  • Converting digital information into web-friendly data formats.
  • Actively participate in office-based meetings with clients and colleagues.
  • Deliver accurate and good quality work in accordance with defined standards.
  • Meet deadlines by delivering tasks defined by Managers.

First Level User Support

  • Taking incoming user support calls, resolving support issues.
  • Resolve user account queries.
  • Logging reported faults into Elecosoft’s in-house ticket system following fault logging procedures.
  • Provide an excellent level of customer support and satisfaction.

Office Tasks & Administration

  • Undertake administrative tasks as requested and in accordance with office requirements.
  • Undertake other duties as necessary and that are deemed appropriate to the position.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities and Experience:
  • Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, oral and written.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to demonstrate a logical and analytical approach to tasks.
  • At least one year’s experience in an office-based environment.
  • Experience in using database driven software applications.
Qualifications:
  • Educated to GCSE / A Level / BTEC equivalent or above.

Working hours and location:
  • Hours of work are 37½ per week. However, it would be expected that you work the hours necessary to meet company deadlines and travel to meetings and other events as appropriate to the role.
  • The main location is Elecosoft’s office in Market Harborough but occasionally travel to other locations may be required.
