Engineering Administrator, Oscar Mayer
I came to Oscar Mayer in November 2020 with over 30 years’ experience in various roles, from working up from a clerical assistant in the Valuation Office to EO grade, ran my own business with my husband for over 13 years, and have been a PA to an ex-barrister and lawyer. I started here as a GAP temp in HR and never left, moved to the Continuous Improvement Team, and have now been with the Engineering Department for almost 4 years.
The Engineering Department was completely paper bound until we got the go ahead to bring in the Shire CMMS system. Being in the Food Industry, and particularly the ready meals market, we have a huge number of varying machines, and therefore I built our system from scratch. Everything Engineering and Site Services wise is put through Shire and I could not sing its praises enough.
A quote from a Technical Manager Interim
“This is the most robust PPM system I have ever seen!”
In my spare time I belong to the Order of Women Freemasons and play clarinet for the award-winning Wrexham Concert Band, 2024 winners of the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen.
Terry Holland
Head of Engineering, Fenmarc
I have worked for Fenmarc in the above role for almost 6 years. I am an apprentice trained, multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias.
I have spent most of my career in the food industry in various roles, including operational management. So, I understand the needs of a production facility and how engineering can support operations.
I have worked for Carnaud Meetal Box, Nestle Purina, Premier Foods, Wincanton PLC, Bakkavor, Two Sister’s Food Group and Amazon (my only foray from a food company). The roles I held in these different companies has given me a wide variety of experiences with managing people and MMS. I have worked with various systems but used Shire in two companies.
I am passionate about people development and driving change within businesses from a reactive maintenance culture to a proactive one. Even developing further to predictive maintenance and striving to reach world class.
