Can you make your summaries reflect tasks that pass a filter?
By default, when you apply a filter your summaries will not change; they display cumulative information even if some of their contained activities are not currently visible. By combining your filter with a Sort/Group, you can apply subheadings that look like summaries, except that these will be a reflection of the activities currently on display.
